When I think about the topics that I have brought into our community space this year, I wonder if I slipped onto the yellow brick road and entered Oz. All of a sudden, I can clearly see that the tin man, scarecrow and the Lion carried the metaphor pointing toward the MetaMind, and so much more.  For years, during Thanksgiving, I watched the Wizard of Oz with my siblings. It was a whole new experience when our console style Magnavox color television allowed us to enjoy the transition from the black and white scenes in Kansas to those scenes in full living color once Dorothy and Toto landed in OZ.

In 2024, I am sensing that our collective experiences will both exceed the vile and humor of The Grinch; the human unfolding of journeying far from home and finding a deeper sense of Self in a world beyond one’s imagining as in the Wizard of OZ, and the litany of high technology films like Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate Atlantis, and more. What do you see coming to life from the world of fiction?

It is an Odd time. There is a phenomenon occurring at the border as our thoughts and feelings translate ever more quickly into lived experiences. Time appears to be elusive as I peer into 2024 and beyond.

The 2024 Forecast Event series of three sessions is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, November 12 at 3pmEST.

The expected runtime is roughly 75 minutes and will continue on two additional Sundays at 3pmEST: November 19 and December 31st. Mark your calendars.

When you register you will receive one link that will be used for the entire series. A Reminder notice will be sent via email the morning of the session and recordings will be sent via dropbox following each live session.
